A VERY FINE PART SILK TABRIZ RUG, NORTH-WEST PERSIA: approx.:162cmx 99cm. Very well drawn design with calligraphy cartouches. This rug has full pile with lustrous wool and silk. Ends with original kilim and fringes. Salvages also original. Very fine weave approx: 8 x 8 knots per sqcm. Woven on silk foundation. Very attractive piece
