A PAIR OF 20TH CENTURY CARVED TABLE SUPPORTS IN THE LATE 16TH / EARLY 17TH CENTURY STYLE in the manner of late Tudor or early Stuart pieces, possibly also influences of the style of Louis XIII, each support carved with naked female figures holding their hands aloft terminating in rich acanthus scrolls, the sides with carved masks issuing fruit ladened swags, each on a single scroll ended base, joined together by a stretcher with egg and dart borders to form a table base, each 58cm high, 80cm wide,136cm long in total
