An early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver three-piece coffee service, Kashmir circa 1900-20

Raj period, comprising a coffee pot, sugar bowl and a milk jug. The coffee pot of European form, tapering cylindrical body with a tubular spout opposite a D section ebonised handle pinned to panelled sockets, leading to a hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable ebonised knop finial. The milk jug of compressed circular form with pouring lip opposite a cast and applied loop handle formed as a snake, the sugar bowl of compressed circular form. All over decorated with chased ‘shawl pattern’, the sugar and milk with gilt interiors. Unmarked. (3)
