TWO JAPANESE CLOISONNE BOXES AND COVERS.

Meiji period.

A square box and cover, worked in gilt wires with a panel of a butterfly hovering over seasonal flowers within a border of a scrolling vine, the Ando mark on the base, 5.5 x 5.5cm, another box and cover of circular form worked in gilt wires with floral roundels against an arabesque pattern of flowers and tendrils with a wood stand, 6cm diameter. (5)
