An early 20th century Austrian 800 standard silver three-piece coffee service, Vienna circa 1910 by Alexander Sturm, retailed by Gebrüder Friedländer of Berlin

Comprising a coffee pot, milk jug and covered twin handled sugar bowl. Each of oval form with panelled sides, the coffee pot with a tubular spout opposite an ivory handle pinned to sockets, the side hinged flat lid surmounted by a detachable silver capped ivory ovoid finial. The milk just with ivory handle. The milk and sugar with gilt interior. Each stampeded underneath with retailers mark and German marks. (3)

Coffee pot height – 20.2 cm / 8 inches

Weight – 1592 grams / 51.18 ozt
