Persian manuscript on paper, two album pages with black ink bold nasta’liq and shikasteh nasta’liq scripts in mashq format, each within cloudbands against gilt and illuminated fields, in double borders of scrolling foliage in polychromes and gold, the right-hand folio largely without dots, the left written in vertical and horizontal directions, dated in the centre, mounted on card, backed by marbled paper, joined and held into a later blue leather binding by black elastic gheytan band, with marbled paper endpaper, the text panels 20.8cm x 13.9cm, and 21.8cm x 13cm, the folios approximately 29.6cm x 19.8cm.
