A WWI CASUALTY GROUP OF MEDALS, awarded to PTE A.G.W. Hawkes G-20830, of the Royal West Kent Regiment, comprising a British War Medal, Victory Medal and memorial plaque, also known as a 'Death Penny', together with letter addressed to Miss E Hawkes announcing the posthumous award of his medals and a framed photograph of Private Hawkes with recent annotated label to the reverse reading 'Private Arthur George Wellington Hawkes died in France in June 1918. He was 17 years old. He was in the war for only six months. Royal West Kent Regiment'
