Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, comprising two vertical compositions with the Hindu God Krishna, in the first painting Krishna hovering over Radha and covering her with his shawl to protect her from the approaching storm, the painting expressing the affection and intimacy between the two lovers, set within red borders, 21.8cm x 15cm; and in the second painting, Krishna giving his blessing to the sakhi (confidante) knelt in front of him, set within bright red borders, 18cm x 14.5cm.
