GEORGE CARTLIDGE (BRITISH, 1868 - 1961) FOR SHERWIN AND COTTON: A rectangular tile plaque, depicting a flautist in Georgian attire within an interior setting, impressed factory marks verso, artist GC monogram to front, another Sherwin and Cotton portrait tile, depicting a Dickensian figure inspecting a quill, and three further emaux ombrants tiles, one depicting a standing monk pouring a drink for a seated monk holding a long stemmed pipe, one depicting a classical maiden amongst bullrushes, the other depicting a classical maiden standing on a plinth and blowing a horn (5)

Larger tiles: 37cm x 15.5cm (excluding frames on two)

Smaller tile: 15cm approx (measured in frame)
