AN EGYPTIAN LIMESTONE SEATED BABOON Third Intermediate Period, Circa 1069 - 664 B.C. Depicted in a squatting position on an integral square base, with small forepaws resting on the knees of the bent hind legs, the genitalia prominent between, the long tail curling round to the right leg, with incised facial features, the mouth in an enigmatic smile, 39cm high.
