A George III silver bougie box, London circa 1775 probably by William Sudell (this mark reg. 19 April 1774)

Of cylindrical form, pull off domed lid, with opposable aperture cover, the base with opposable side handle. The base marked to the interior with maker’s mark WS twice only.
