The light rust fiels with scrolling floral and leafy vine together with arabesques around open floral arabesque medallion with pendants. Spandrels similar in an indigo border of serrated palmettes arabesques and flowering vine. Between floral meandre, reciprocal and plain stripes, approx. 200cm x 128cm. Vety nicely drawn design and well balanced colours. This rug has good pile with minute touches of wear to the top pile in few places. Salvages original, with touches of fraying. Ends original with slight loss of guard stripe. Fine weave approx. 7x7knots per sq.cm. In general, this rug is good usable condition. Good example for this type.
