A CHINESE YIXING ZISHA TEAPOT AND COVER.
Qing Dynasty, 18th Century.
The rounded body rising from a rounded foot and inverted base, set with a short upward pointing spout, opposite a handle naturalistically modelled as a gnarled branch which extends onto the body with attendant moulded flowering branches, repeated on the shoulders and cover, the ring with a later-added white metal mount and the cover with a replacement wooden finial, 18cm wide.
