清十八至十九世紀 青玉太獅少獅擺件

The finely carved jade group depicting two lion-dogs at play, with a pup and dog playing with an embroidered ball, the curly tufts of fur in their manes and hides as well as the diaper pattern on the ball highlighted with delicately engraved lines and the surfaces polished to a soft sheen, the celadon matrix displaying some faint russet staining in natural fissure lines and the base of the group retaining much of the contour of the original boulder as well as patches of its brown skin.
