A BRASS INCENSE BURNER OF ANTHROMORPHIC FORM
DECCAN, INDIA, 18TH OR 19TH CENTURY

Brass Incense Burner Of Anthromorphic Form, Deccan, India, 18th or 19th Century
Made of brass, it is cast in the imitation of a bird surmounted by a cobra-type snake/naga. It rests on a stepped quadrangular base and opens to a lid formed by the upper part of the bird.
