Of typical shape, resting on four bulbous feet, the top faceted, inscribed Jerusalem in both English and Hebrew characters, with an inclined lifting desktop attached with hinges to the back of the body, below the desktop a large compartment with storage space for paper and two drawers for writing implements, surmounted by a rectangular desk organiser divided in six narrow compartments for documents and envelopes, the cover carved and pierced with vine trellis, grape bunches and the symbol of the Jerusalem cross in the centre, smaller drawers and pigeonholes to the sides for storing writing implements, 98cm x 57.4cm x 67.8cm.
