A mid-19th century Indian colonial silver curry pan, Calcutta circa 1850 by Hamilton and Co
of cylindrical form upon three hemi-spherical feet. The pull off double domed lid with a gadrooned rim, surmounted by a detachable turned horn compressed knop finial. Fitted with two single detachable reeded edge handles with turned horn centre, each with sliding rectangular junctions. Marked underneath only with H&Co, an elephant, a cup and cover, Roman capital A and a pellet tally mark.
