A George III sterling silver wine label, London circa 1780 by Hester Bateman
Of curved oval form with a pierced edge of interlaced scrolls, the central cartouche with floral decoration and engraved WHITE. Belcher suspension chain. Engraved to the reverse with initials HF in Roman script. Marked with makers mark and lion passant only.
Length – 5.6 cm / 2.45 inches
