***Le Rossignol’s remarkable series of visionary images were informed by Theosophical philosophy and supposedly channeled through a spirit guide. 'The Nightingale' remains a mysterious figure, with very little known of her life. The drawings were exhibited in 1929 by the London Spiritual Alliance.
