A George I sterling silver half-pint mug, London 1722 by John East (this mark reg. 24th May 1721)

Of rounded cylindrical form upon a moulded circular foot, plain C scroll handle with an oval lower junction. The front engraved with a contemporaneous quartered coat of arms all within Baroque scroll work mantling reserved with stippling. Fully marked underneath.
