Pen, pencil, opaque pigments, ink and gold on paper, the content of the calligraphic group mostly of poetic nature, the folios in a variety of pagination, some bearing calligraphers’ signatures, including Mirza Saba Tafreshi, Mohammad Shafi’ Khorasani; some with attributions to Darwish Safavi, Mirza Kuchak Visal Shirazi, and Mirza Abdullah Mo’tamed ud Dowla (shikasteh and ta’liq scripts) on a collaged folio; one folio dated 1297AH (1880), two stamped on the verso ‘Avenue Naderi Magasin Taban’, the largest 32cm x 21cm, the smallest 17.5cm x 11cm.
