A William IV sterling silver salt, London 1836 by Joseph Hodgson
Of compressed circular form with a corded rim raised upon four hoof feet with grotesque masks, joined by applied and chased floral swags. Gilt interior, fitted with a removable blue glass liner. Fully marked underneath.
