Provenance. From the library of Louis Thompson Rowe of XV Hammersmith Terrace, W. (1855-1927), bibliophile and musician. His collection was famously donated by an anonymous benefactor in 1928 to King's College, Cambridge, and is the foundation of the Rowe Music Library.
