Historia de bello administrato in Italia per annos XV…, FIRST EDITION, large woodcut arms of cardinal Albornoz, light age yellowing, the odd spot, historiated initial, joints weak, later paper wrappers, title inked to lower edge, rubbed and a little stained, folio, Antonio Giaccarello, & Pellegrino Bonardo, Bologna, 1559.

*** Edition dedicated to cardinal Albornoz, founder of the College of Spain, by the Dominican Juan Gines de Sepulveda (1490 - 1573) and printed in Bologna where the author studied between 1515 and 1523. His master in those years was Pietro Pomponazzi, who introduced him to study Aristotelian philosophy.
