Notes: Complete with matched case, the No.3 Folding Pocket Kodak De Luxe was a specially trimmed version of the standard No.3 manufactured by Eastman Kodak Company Rochester, NY, in 1901. A Vertical, folding bed camera, the No. 3 produced 3 1/4 x 4 1/4" images on 118 film. The most popular of the folding pocket Kodak line, around 300,000 units were manufactured by 1915, when it was replaced by the Autographic models. The De Luxe version was trimmed in Persian Morroco covering, including the lens board, and featuring gold silk bellows. It has a Kodak name plate of solid silver and came in a hand-sewn carrying case in matching Persian Morroco. Only 700 De Luxe models were produced.
