A mid-20th century Iranian (Persian) silver vase, Isfahan circa 1940
Pahlavi dynasty, of inverted baluster form with short circular neck, the body with finely chased and engraved Ghalam Zani decoration of cartouches of bird and foilate scrolls (golo morph) reserved against chased birds and foilate forms , between shaped borders and bands of flower heads. Marked underneath with workshop mark and standard mark.
