SIX TURKISH SILVER SPOONS
Ottoman Turkey, ca. 1909 - 1924

Comprising six silver spoons, each with a deeply curved neck and long, flat handle cusped in the middle and rounded at the end, each spoon stamped with sah and tughra marks on the top of the handle, and a scratch assay mark at the back, the faded tughra marks from either Sultan Mehmed V (r. 1909 - 1918) or Mehmed VI (r. 1918 - 1922)'s reigns, each 16cm long, total weight 191g.
