A pair of George III sterling silver wine coasters, London 1816 by William Stroud
Each of circular form with convex fluted sides, the gadrooned rims with scallop shell and oak leaf motifs. The turned mahogany bases with a central inset boss engraved with a crest of an ostrich, holding in the beak a horse-shoe. The undersides with baize lining. Each fully marked to the base edge. (2)
