A large early Victorian sterling silver milk jug, Birmingham 1839 by William Ryland (reg. Jan 1838)
Of baluster form with lobed sides, all upon four acanthus leaf feet, a C scroll handle. The body with flat chased decoration of gourds with leaves. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath.
