Philip Randolph (typed note signed, 21 November 1973); Roy Wilkins (typed letter on National Association for the Advancement of Colored People headed paper, declining an invitation, 20 June 1966); Roy Innis (signed First day Cover); Julian Bond (signed First Day Cover); Pete Seeger (signed card); Charles Evers (typed letter on National Association for the Advancement of Colored People headed paper, making arrangements to appear as speaker for the Young Democrats of Madison, Wisconsin, 18 July 1966); Dick Gregory (signed photograph); Jesse Jackson (signed photograph); Hubert H. Humphrey (typed letter on United States Senate headed paper, regarding his participation in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, saying "This was a historic and moving occasion. It demonstrated to me the faith that Americans have in the achievement of social justice through the democratic process", 9 September 1963); Ralph Bunche (signed First Day Cover); Lyndon Johnson (typed letter on Office of the Vice President headed paper, inviting Mrs Andrea Simon to attend "a conference sponsored by the Committee [on Equal Employment]...The purpose of the President's Committee is to promote and insure for all Americans equal opportunity in employment", 27 April 1962); Dr Reginald Hawkins (signed photograph); Bayard Rustin (typed letter declining an invitation, 5 July 1967); Vernon Jordan (signed First Day Cover); Harry Belafonte (signed postcard photograph); James Farmer (signed photograph); Stokely Carmichael (signed card reading "To my comrade Frank, We must struggle unceasingly to destroy capitalism and build socialism"); Ernest Green (signed card); Hosea Williams (signed card); Robert L. Lucas (typed letter listing his expenses to attend a Young Democrats event, 20 September 1967); Shirley Chisolm (typed letter on Congress of the United States headed paper, reading in part "I strongly support the nomination of Nelson Rockefeller with a clear conscience, because he is one of the best qualified men in the nation to assume to Vice Presidency", 16 December 1974); Hugh Scott (typed letter saying that "In November 1967...I received a call from the White House telling me that President Johnson was diverting a freight plane from Madrid to Mildenhall Air Base and that I would be expected to be on it early the next morning. The reason: a series of votes were pending in the Judiciary Committee on the Civil Rights Bill. Sam Ervin was fighting to keep the bill in Committee, and the Committee was tied 7 to 7. I had the swing, or as the British call it, the 'casting vote'", 14 April 1977); Benjamin Hooks (signed slip of paper); Marian Anderson (signed First Day Cover); James Baldwin (signed softback copy of Go Tell It on the Mountain, later edition, 1963); Gerald Ford (typed letter signed ('Gerry') as Representative, to attorney Wencel A.
