A VERY FINE ISFAHAN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx: 156cm. x 107cm. Great example for this type with classic design and very good colour combination with soft light-blue field. This rug has full pile, very soft and lustrous kurk wool quality. Selvages rebound, very well done. Ends with very short fringes. Extremely fine weave, approx: 11 x 10 knots per sq. cm. In general this rug is in very good usable condition. Very attractive and lovely furnishing piece.
