A pair of George III Irish sterling silver wine coasters, Dublin 1790-91 by Christopher Haines

Of circular form with a shaped reeded rim. The sides with pierced and bright cut engraved border. A shaped rectangular cartouche to the front, each engraved with a crest of an eagle. Inset turned mahogany bases with felt undersides. Each fully marked to the side, one for each date letter. (2)
