The body of inverted baluster form upon a rocaille scroll foot, the upper rim with cast and applied bacchanalian masks. The domed pull off lid surmounted by a cast finial. of a recumbent goat. The body and lid with pierced decoration of a foliate scrolls, the body centred with a vacant cartouche. The opposable swing handle of interlaced strap form. Fitted with a removable ‘blown in’ blue glass liner. Fully marked to side and to underside of lid, the swing handle and goat finial part-marked, retaining wing nut with lion passant only.
