A Victorian sterling silver christening mug, London 1844 by John Edward Terry
Of circular form with everted moulded rim, upon four cast acanthus scroll feet and a acanthus formed C scroll handle. The body with embossed decoration a stag, a doe and a greyhound against long class and shrubbery. Engraved to the side with initials NTF in cursive script. The underside engraved From TP 12 Sep 1845. Fully marked to the right of handle.
