A Charles I unascribed provincial silver seal top spoon, circa 1630
Fig shaped bowl with flat stem, cast seam top terminal with a step junction. Maker’s mark only to the bowl of NR or NP in monogram between six pellets in a shaped punch.
Length – 15.6 cm / 6.15 inches
Weight – 25 grams / 0.8 ozt
This mark is a variant of NR or NP in monogram with a mullet below in a shaped punch illustrated on a seal top circa 1630, Jackson’s (1989) P. 518.
