A George III sterling silver teapot, London 1808 by Alice and George Burrows (reg. 10th July 1801)
Of ogee rectangular form upon four ball feet, the curved panel section spout opposite a later fibre D section handle pinned to rectangular sockets. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable finial. The sides of body with a chased applied band of laurel leaves heightened with stamp work. The cavetto later engraved with initials PPSC in cursive script. Together with a milk jug, London 1797 by Henry Nutting, plain ogee baluster form, later engraved to the side with the same intials. Each fully marked and part-marked. (2)
