Autograph letter signed (" Saad Zaghloul") to Mr Greech, reading "I should be glad if you would let me have a sum of 3000 three thousand rupees out of my account", one page, folding marks, losses to upper margin, upper right corner and margin, a few light losses to text due to ink corrosion, creasing and closed tears to margins, 4to, [Seychelles] 7 May 1922; together with a printed portrait of Zaghloul (2)

***Saad Zaghloul was an Egyptian statesman and patriot, leader of the Wafd party and of the nationalist movement of 1918–19, which led Britain to give Egypt nominal independence in 1922. He was briefly prime minister in 1924. Letters by him are exceedingly scarce on the market.
