An early George II sterling silver covered sugar bowl, London 1728 by John Gamon (reg. 22nd March 1727)
Of hemispherical form upon a spreading circular foot, the rim with an incised line. The pull off reversible lid with central spreading foot, incised line to edge. Fully marked underneath and to inside of lid.
Diameter – 10 cm / 4 inches
Weight – 193 grams / 6.21 ozt
