A matched pair of early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver bowls, Madras circa 1910 by Peter Orr and Sons
Raj period, each of slightly concave circular form, chased with a rosette pattern below a palmette border, the base with stylised betel leaves. One engraved with an initial S to the rim. Each stamped underneath P ORR & SONS, MADRAS. (2)
