A George III sterling silver mustard pot, London 1783 by Robert Hennell I (reg. 30th May 1772)
of cylindrical form upon a moulded foot, the upper section with a beaded rim. The hinged gently domed lid raised by an open work shell thumbpiece, leading to a leaf capped double C scroll handle. The lid cut with a spoon aperture at a right angle to handle. The body with pierced urns heightened with engraving adjoined by bright cut engraved festoons, all between two pierced bands of Vitruvian scroll, the lid edged with bright cut engraving. The interior with a removable blue glass liner. Fully marked underneath and a lion passant only to the lid. Together with a pair of George V toast racks, Birmingham 1927 by Asprey and Co. (3)
