A George III sterling silver tea caddy, London 1765 by John Langford II and John Sebille (active 1763-70)
of square section with canted corners, with a moulded foot and upper edge. The sliding section with a cylindrical top section, finial deficient. The front engraved with a contemporaneous crest of a demi-lion rampant. Fully marked underneath, and lion passant only to the lid interior.
