Comprising one snuff bottle painted by Gui Xianggu and dated 1895, finely painted to depict a landscape scene dotted with figures at work, donkeys hauling goods and dwellings, with inscription and red seal marks, together with a double-bottle signed [Zhu] Lesan, dated to the bingwu year corresponding to 1966, painted with scholars in mountain landscapes and accompanied by inscriptions and red seal marks, with stoppers,

Formerly in the collection of Frank William Pierce (d. 1978), Surrey. Both are listed in a probate valuation undertaken by Christie's in 1978, on pages 39 and 41;

Thence bequeathed to the current owner
