An early Victorian sterling silver twin handled sugar bowl, London 1838 by William Theobalds
Inverted baluster form upon a spreading domed foot, applied ribbed C scroll handles with a moulded rim. The body with embossed decoration of a vacant asymmetrical C scroll cartouche, reserved with flower heads and shell scrolls. The lower section with chased flower heads and rocaille C scrolls. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath.
