An early Victorian Scottish sterling silver twin handled sugar bowl, Edinburgh 1837 by James Howden & Co
Of rounded circular form upon four die struck rocaille scroll feet. The acanthus capped C scroll handle leading to an undulating flower head and scroll rim. The body with embossed vacant C scroll cartouches reserved with flower heads. Gilt interior. Fully marked underneath.
