-NATO stock number (NSN): NATO Supply Classification Group 6645 (66 refers to Instruments and Laboratory equipment and 45 refines that to Time Measuring Instrument.
Dial: Signed, black, white Arabic numerals, white outer minute division with luminous applied hour markers, silvered sword hands with luminous insert, silvered center seconds hand, broad arrow at the 6 o’clock position. The next 9 digits are for the NATO Item Identification Instrument (NIIN). Indication with the first 2 digits the NCB, country’s National Codification Bureau which is 99 for the UK and the last seven digits are for the unique item in that country’s inventory, 99253-8290. The following 4 digits are the watch number and the last two digits are for the year the watch was issue, in 1980
