Qajar Iran, 19th century
With a single-edged steel blade, with a thick and flat spine all the way to the tang locked into two slabs of bone making the handle, the forte carved with Safavid-revival floral sprays, the tang engraved all around with rosettes and auspicious calligraphic cartouches, 19cm long.
