A pair of Nicholas II Russian 84 zolotnik silver gilt and cloisonné enamel spoons, Moscow 1908-14 by Nikolai Nikolaievich Zverev (active 1908-14)
Each with fig shaped bowls with a tapering twisted stem culminating in an inverted baluster terminal with faceted pinnacle. The bowl with applied wirework and cloisonné enamel of foliate forms and arabesques in polychrome enamel with foil backed translucent red enamel. The bowl edged with a course of turquoise enamel roundels. The stem with enamelled sections in blue colours with white. Marked to the side of stem with kokoshnik mark (875 standard) and makers mark НЭ. (2)
