A Victorian sterling silver sugar bowl and sifter, London 1878 Martin Goldstein (reg. Sep 1878)
In the George III Irish style, of circular form with a rounded base, the shaped rim with punched bead work rims, raised on three cast scroll feet with grotesque mask and rocaille junction. The body with spiral fluting and beading. Gilt interior. The spoon with twisted handle and ‘apostle’ finial, the bowl with pieced decoration. The bowl with engraved initials IFP in cursive script. Each fully marked. (2)
