Three late 17th/18th century Pewter chargers

Three late 17th/18th century Pewter chargers

each of circular form with broad rim and incised edge, the smallest marked to front with touchmarks for IG with mullet below and pellets above and below, lions head, lion rampant and a fleur-de-lis, the reverse with initials MB in Roman script. The others unmarked, the largest with a removable flat insert (Bain Marie). (3)

A pewter charger with wriggle work decoration with a similar makers mark of IG was sold Bonham’s Chester, 12th May 2020, Lot 23 (£936 incl. premium)
