FIVE 'ALL SOULS COMMON ROOM' SEALED WINE BOTTLES, early 19th Century, each of dark olive tint and cylindrical form, applied to the centre with a moulded seal inscribed 'A.S.C.R.' for All Souls College, Oxford, the tallest 29.5cm high (minor chipping to rim of shortest bottle) (5) LITERATURE: See David Burton, 'Antique Sealed Bottles 1640 -1900 and the Families that Owned Them' (2014), vol.
